It's been a while since the last review came out. That has a number of reasons, but the biggest one is that after every review I said to myself, I need a photostudio. I have always had trouble getting the lighting and background right when shooting a model. I was looking for something special, not just any standard photostudio. A photostudio that can also be used as a diorama to store model cars in. After looking around I ended up at Imiro Design.
Imiro Design is an Italian company creating beautiful diorama's and model car display's, all to make your model cars stand out even more. Imiro uses the finest materials to make your project really stand out from the rest. The combination of wood, plastic, plants, lights and even stones make Imiro such a great diorama builder.
Imiro produces a lot of different diorama's, from small garages to huge display's. Nothing is too crazy and anything can be done. You can either buy a pre-built one, or do a full design process to make a special diorama that fits your needs. But don't think €50,- can get you a 1:18 display at Imiro. Since there is a lot of time involved in the design and the build of a product like this there is a price attatched to it. All diorama's are handmade by Italian hands with the finest materials and craftsmanship. Depending on your likings the prices of the diorama's start at around €100,- and go all the way up to prices like €500,- or even more.. |
This is the photostudio I had been waiting for. No more worries about lighting and the background. The studio is about 60 cm long, 40 cm wide and 35 cm high. Together with a nice flowerpot and built in lighting something like this will set you back around €200,-. Definitely not cheap, but it's worth it.
The amount of details in the product is outstanding, the lighting is perfect and equal all round. Every edge is finished by a thing wooden strip to give it a more luxurious look. In the front of the photostudio separate wooden pieces make a nice floor. Behind that is a nice reflective white plastic base, also finished by a thin wooden strip. On top of the diorama an electric case can be found, togheter with the power cable. Any diorama you order that has light get's a power cable with it so you don't have to worry about powering up the lights. Enjoy the pictures. |
